DESCRIÇÃO DO PROJETO / PROJECT DISCRIPTION
"CONCRETE 11 nasceu para realizar um desejo de viver junto do centro de Lisboa, sem comprometer a partilha com o ambiente concedido por uma casa de campo.
A concepção do projecto tornou possível que a casa interaja com o meio envolvente, sendo o inverso também uma realidade.
A integração urbana e paisagística é assegurada, uma vez que a materialidade das fachadas deixa o volume sóbrio e camuflado no terreno. Tratando-se de um terreno com acentuada inclinação, foi possível deixar que o volume funcione em duas camadas sobrepostas, uma que serve de embasamento e que se encastra no terreno e outra que levita sobre a primeira, representada por um elemento branco, e onde se desenvolve a parte social da casa.
A materialidade foi o ponto chave para que este volume não seja apenas uma casa, mas que funcione como uma escultura.
Foi dada prioridade aos materiais de origem nacional, desde a seleção tanto da madeira como das pedras naturais, mas igualmente de alguns equipamentos.
Os interiores foram pensados e desenhados com a finalidade de obter um ambiente acolhedor e relaxante, atribuindo à casa um carácter único, moderno e sem “ruído”.
O resultado final foi muito positivo. Os clientes sentem a casa como sua, em toda a dimensão que a personalização oferece, e a componente urbanística desenvolveu-se sem deixar ao acaso a respeitabilidade que de que o ambiente carece."

"CONCRETE 11 was born to fulfill a desire to live close to the center of Lisbon, without compromising the sharing with the environment granted by a country house.
The project's conception made it possible for the house to interact with its surroundings, with the reverse also being a reality.
Urban and landscape integration is ensured, as the materiality of the facades leaves the volume sober and camouflaged in the terrain. As this is a terrain with a steep slope, it was possible to let the volume function in two overlapping layers, one that serves as a base and that is embedded in the terrain and another that levitates over the first, represented by a white element, and where develops the social part of the house.
Materiality was the key point for this volume not to be just a house, but to function as a sculpture.
Priority was given to materials of national origin, from the selection of both wood and natural stones, but also to some equipment.
The interiors were conceived and designed with the aim of obtaining a welcoming and relaxing environment, giving the house a unique, modern and noise-free character.
The end result was very positive. Customers feel the house is their own, in all the dimension that customization offers, and the urban component was developed without leaving to chance the respectability that the environment lacks."
