It is a privilege for our Ivo Tavares Studio team to follow the work of Sequeira Dias Arquitetos, based in vibrant Ponta Delgada. Our photographic reports always aim to capture the essence of their projects, revealing how they integrate architectural design with technical requirements. We have had the pleasure of documenting their unique vision across various works.

Rodrigo Sequeira Dias is an architect and partner at Sequeira Dias Arquitetos. He graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon (FAUTL) in 2010.

He began his professional career at Pedro Maurício Borges’s practice in Lisbon, subsequently joining Luís Almeida e Sousa Arquitectos in Ponta Delgada, Azores. He later worked with M-arquitectos, also in Ponta Delgada, where he developed a thorough understanding of the legal framework and administrative procedures associated with architectural projects.

Throughout these experiences, he contributed to residential, hospitality and cultural projects, building expertise across the different stages of design and in coordinating architectural concepts with the technical requirements of their development.

In 2017, he co-founded MASD - Madeira & Sequeira Dias Arquitectos with architect Diogo Madeira, remaining with the practice until 2019.

Today, through Sequeira Dias Arquitetos, he develops projects in Portugal, particularly in the Azores and Lisbon, and in Angola, with projects in Cabinda, Luanda and Namibe. The studio’s work encompasses architecture and interior design, with a particular focus on residential projects, restaurants and hotels.
