Raquel Solano
Founder of Solano Soto Studio. Born in Madrid, architect by the Polytechnic School of Architecture of Madrid in June 2016 with honors. Collaborated with recognized national and international studios before establishing her own practice, with its headquarters in Madrid and Lisbon.
She has worked internationally on large-scale projects such as private competitions for residential skyscrapers, medium-scale projects focused on the educational sector and small-scale projects, being specialized on private housing.

Every project is a unique opportunity, and every first step leads to a different project, shaped by its initial concepts and ideas, which define the soul of each project. Every conceptual challenge leads us to improve and pushes us to always go a little further. For our clients, knowing what they are going to choose and being part of the design process is also a point of trust, along with the certainty that we carry out a project being involved in all its phases, from the first sketches to the last details of the interior design.

Within the design team, the practice facilitates the creation of open and integrated architecture solutions, in a continuous dialogue with the client premises, embracing the needs and projecting the future seeds of the practice principles. We believe on a careful consideration of the environment, attunement to local materials and culture, and seeking out the expertise and contributions of all ingredients surrounding each project— which continue to apply to each new undertaking.

To achieve a 360-degree vision and enrich us with the different complexities of each project, we developed a collaboration network with specialist professionals in different sectors that allows us to always be up to date and position ourselves competitively in the market.
