PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"‘Casa Linho’ is the name we chose for this Architecture and Interior Design project, developed for a family who reached out to us shortly after purchasing a home that was already under construction. Our involvement began early in the building process, allowing us to guide and oversee all finishing decisions from the outset, ensuring a cohesive foundation aligned with the clients’ vision. The brief was very clear: the spaces were to convey neutrality, timelessness, and transparency. Based on these three principles, we developed a fully bespoke project where nothing was left to chance. Every environment was designed from scratch — from defining spatial proportions to the selection of colours, fabrics, textures, stones, and woods — always in close dialogue with the clients and in harmony with their lifestyle and desired aesthetic. At our studio, we believe that the beauty of a space lies in its authenticity. That’s why we place great emphasis on using noble, natural materials such as marble, solid wood, linen, and raw cotton. These materials not only age gracefully, but also carry a tactile and visual presence that brings depth and honesty to each space. A significant part of the furniture in this home was designed by us — complemented by carefully selected pieces from renowned national and international designers — and handcrafted by local artisans in a detailed and thoughtful process. Each piece is unique and tailored precisely to the needs of the space. This sur mesure approach is a defining trait of our work: each project involves an in-depth process of research and design, including visits to workshops, material sourcing, comparisons, and testing with specialised suppliers. More than simply ‘decor’, we design environments with identity — spaces conceived to endure over time. Casa Linho is a reflection of this philosophy: the result of a symbiosis between the identity of those who will inhabit the space and the sensitivity of the architect. A serene, balanced, and functional home, where every element speaks to the whole, and where the care behind every decision can be subtly felt.
