Captured in 2020 at Casa Beira Mar, a project designed by architect Paulo Martins in Aveiro, this image transcends the traditional documentation of spaces to explore the lived experience of architecture itself.

Observe how the harsh, frontal light cuts across the white wall, casting the organic shadows of the surrounding vegetation. This interplay of light breaks the coolness of the suspended steps and creates a high-contrast scene. It is a moment frozen in time, where skin texture, the pure geometry of the staircase, and shadows share the same prominence under the sun.

Each print is hand-signed by the author in pencil and authenticated with our blind emboss seal on the bottom margin (on some sizes, the seal may slightly overlap the image). The dimensions indicated always refer to the total paper size, not the image itself. The photograph is printed centrally, framed by this white border, making it perfectly compatible with standard off-the-shelf frames (such as those from IKEA).

All images feature a small caption in the bottom left corner next to the image, displaying the image title and the name of the architect responsible for the architectural project.
