The metallic skin of the building comes alive and acts as a filter that simultaneously conceals and reveals. Captured in 2025 at Casa Corten — a project designed by the HPA studio —, this image focuses on the striking materiality that gives the work its name, exploring how architecture breathes and interacts with the natural and human landscape.

Note the three-dimensional, lace-like texture of the perforated sheet, tinged with unmistakable earthy and copper tones. This architectural screen singularly filters light, creating a visual barrier that protects the intimacy of the home without isolating it from the world. It is through this translucent mesh that we glimpse the graphic and delicate presence of tree leaves, introducing the organic lightness of nature in contrast with the solidity of the metal.

The narrative of this piece reaches its climax with the human silhouette, blurred and shrouded in mystery, inhabiting the space behind this filter. The almost abstract fusion between the geometric pattern of the steel, the outline of the vegetation, and the human contour lends the photograph a dreamlike dimension. It is an incredibly intimate, warm, and textured work, perfect for environments that call for earthy tones and an aura of sophisticated abstraction.

Each print is hand-signed by the author in pencil and authenticated with our blind embossment on the bottom margin (on some sizes, the embossment may slightly overlap the image). The dimensions indicated always refer to the total paper size, not the image itself. The photograph is printed centrally, framed by this white border, making it perfectly compatible with standard off-the-shelf frames (such as those from IKEA).

All images feature a small caption in the bottom left corner, next to the image, with the image title and the name of the project architect.
