"O projeto tem como base duas premissas; conciliar o programa solicitado com as características do terreno. O terreno insere-se numa zona que ao momento não existe construção na sua periferia mas que a curto prazo irá mudar. A exigência de resolver o programa num só piso exige que o espaço verde sobrante se torne parte integral da composição programática. Assim sendo, a ideia passa por elaborar dois volumes que, pelo seu conteúdo programático assumiriam posições e volumetrias distintas. Os volumes são posicionados no terreno de forma a tirar partido da exposição solar ao mesmo tempo que se relacionam com a envolvente e o espaço verde sobrante. Essa posição marca o desenvolvimento do programa. Quanto mais para o interior do terreno mais privado e reservado é o espaço. A composição dos volumes e a suas aberturas para o exterior proporcionam ao seu interior uma luminosidade controlada e um prolongamento do espaço interior para o exterior. A sua forma e materialidade pretendem personificar as construções típicas desta zona. "

"The project is based on two premises: reconciling the requested program with the characteristics of the site. The site is located in an area where there is currently no construction on its periphery, but this will change in the near future. The requirement to resolve the program on a single floor requires that the remaining green space become an integral part of the programmatic composition. Therefore, the idea involves creating two volumes that, due to their programmatic content, would assume distinct positions and volumes. The volumes are positioned on the site to take advantage of the solar exposure while also interacting with the surroundings and the remaining green space. This positioning defines the development of the program. The further inland the site, the more private and reserved the space. The composition of the volumes and their openings to the exterior provide the interior with controlled light and an extension of the interior space to the exterior. Their form and materiality are intended to embody the typical buildings of this area. "
