PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"This work is an adaptation and expansion of a residential building from the early 50s of the last century,to be used as an educational building located in the Universidade Lusófona do Porto set of facilities.
The intervention focused on the interiors integral transformation, the expansion of spaces facing the back facade and the addition of a new upper floor.
Contrary to the interiors, where a radical intervention was chosen, the exteriors had a more surgical transformation, with occasional changes in volumetry elements (balconies, openings, roof, walls). The goal was guarantee a final result with a coherent scale and character with the new use, without harming its relationship with the surrounding buildings."
