"Fundado em 2007 em Lisboa, de forte ligação a ponta delgada, a BOX arquitectos associados, suporta-se em fundamentos criativos, eventualmente inesperados, capazes de questionar conceitos e vocábulos arquitectónicos, pré-instituídos.
De linguagem original, o atelier explora exaustivamente o diálogo entre a forma o lugar e a função, para alcançar a explanação do homem no sítio. O rigor da escala com a relação da proporção, é o tema obsessivo
na dinâmica do projecto de arquitectura do atelier.
Não nos preocupa a diferença, preocupa-nos sim, o monótono discurso da normalidade.
A “caixa criativa” box : arquitectos, assume um fascínio pelo experimentalismo formal e espacial, fundamentado por uma abordagem técnica indissociável do acto de projectar.
Faz parte da natureza da box, a constante pesquisa de arquétipos, que expliquem e representem a evolução
do “acto” de habitar o espaço filosófico e humano, num entendimento cultural e sociológico do universo.
Dependemos por isso, do desfio constante à nossa capacidade de superação, na abordagem do paradigma da
arquitectura."

"Founded in 2007 in Lisbon, with a strong connection to Ponta Delgada, BOX architects associates is based on creative foundations, possibly unexpected, capable of questioning pre-established architectural concepts and words.
With original language, the atelier exhaustively explores the dialogue between form, place and function, to reach the explanation of man in the place. The rigor of scale with the relationship of proportion is the obsessive theme
in the dynamics of the studio's architectural project.
We are not concerned with the difference, we are concerned with the monotonous discourse of normality.
The “creative box” box : architects assumes a fascination with formal and spatial experimentation, based on a technical approach inseparable from the act of designing.
It is part of the nature of the box, the constant search for archetypes, which explain and represent the evolution
of the “act” of inhabiting the philosophical and human space, in a cultural and sociological understanding of the universe.
We depend, therefore, on the constant challenge to our ability to overcome, in approaching the paradigm of
architecture."
